Who We Are

The best approach to any project should always begin with design. My clients' desires to improve the spaces(s) they have or create something entirely new provide the creative spark. New projects are born often from an emotional need but the initial design framework is ultimately based in function. Form and style closely follow and are the personal expression of the creative team; client, family and designers alike. Each project is unique and reflects the clients' needs, wants and resources.

Effective collaboration results in a successful project. The input of all team members is indispensable and requires careful orchestration. Open communications and the flow of ideas between the client, myself, allied design pros, builders and the craftsmen who put it all together are the hallmark of a successful outcome. Attention to the details and a great experience throughout the process sets us apart and is the reason nearly all of our business is referral based.

Dan Johnson

Dan was born in Wilmington Delaware and grew up on a small farm in Southern Chester County, Pennsylvania. He attended The Tatnall School and The University of Pennsylvania.

Dan has thirty plus years of experience in architectural design, cabinetry & millwork design, cabinetry & millwork fabrication and residential and light commercial construction and building.

studioTD3 was formed in 2012 by Principal Dan Johnson.

studioTD3 was born out of a desire to provide architectural design consultation, high end products and project management in a way that focuses on meeting the clients' needs through the entire life of the project.
